Description
A gorgeous silver hare pendant measuring 25mm in diameter, hanging from a delicate silver chain. I designed this piece to celebrate the Winter Solstice, and the longest night. It comes from a series of my original hare drawings, inspired by the local hares I encounter.
The hare is handcut from solid sterling silver sheet, and entirely handmade. I spend many hours of work on shaping and engraving to give a beautiful amount of depth and detail. The pose of the hare conjures up the impression that this beautiful creature is bowing to the crescent moon above it.
